    • All-Ceramic crowns are translucent and are the most naturally looking tooth replacement. Only All-Ceramic crowns have such translucency.

    • The All-Ceramic crown can be the best choice for restoring a front tooth that is cracked or broken, or a tooth that is badly damaged and cannot be corrected with a veneer.

    • All-Ceramic crowns offer natural looking dental restorations that are color matched to the surrounding teeth.

  • Post and core -

    • Management of badly broken down anterior tooth will be managed by post and core build up using fibre reinforced composite post .

    • Inlays and Onlays are similar as they are a type of indirect restoration. However, the difference is that

      • Inlays are indirect restorations which do not have cuspal coverage and are within the body of the tooth.

      • Onlays are indirect restorations that cover both body and cusps of teeth

  • All ceramic fixed partial dentures -

    • The fixed partial denture (FPD) is a dental restoration used to replace missing teeth and that is permanently attached to adjacent teeth or dental implants.

    • It is like a 'bridge' fixed on the 'stages. ' Here, the adjacent teeth or dental implants, called abutments, act as the stages to support the FPD bridge.

  • Composite restorations-

    • Composite restoration is used to restore tooth structure that is missing from teeth. Missing tooth structure can be caused by caries , enamel defects (some people are born with anomalies on tooth structure) Tooth wear (from erosion, attrition or abrasion) or for aesthetic purposes.

    • The US food and drug administartion only endorses gels that are under 6% hydrogen peroxide or 16% or less of carbamide peroxide. The scientific commitee on consumer saftey consider gels containing higher fixations can be dangerous.

    • Digital smile design (DSD) -

      • DSD is a unique dental tretmet planning tool that strengthens a dental provider’s diagnostic vision, enhances predictability, and improves communication between dental providers and their patients.

      • A treatment plan is completely based on a thorough analysis of the patient’s dental and facial proportions. Through the use of videos, photographs, and temporary mock-ups, DSD providers can get a better sense of the relationship between the lips, gums, and teeth, as well as how they work together to create the patient’s smile.
